The location of the hostel was convenient as it was close to a bus station, making it easy to explore the area. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing useful recommendations for things to do in the city. The hostel had a big kitchen area which was great for preparing meals. The beds were comfortable and had curtains for added privacy, along with individual plugs and spotlights for each bed.
The social vibe at the hostel wasn't the most lively, which could be a drawback for those looking to meet fellow travelers.

As old people, we really enjoyed the welcoming and friendly atmosphere at the hostel. The community room was a great place to socialize and meet new people. The hostel also had a sauna, which was a wonderful added bonus. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, with plenty of toilets and showers available. We also appreciated the book in the rooms that provided information on local activities and attractions.
Felt exceptional, no complaints.

I had an excellent stay at a basic hostel in a great location. The twin private room had windows that could be opened, and the kitchen was spacious and well-equipped. The bathrooms were modern and clean. The staff member was amazing, providing excellent customer service. The hostel was conveniently located near tram routes and a grocery store. Despite a few minor drawbacks, such as the lack of lockers in the rooms and the inconvenient layout of my upgraded room, the overall experience was fantastic. I particularly enjoyed the pub hopping event organized by the hostel and the friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend this hostel for its value for money and good facilities.

The staff at Backpackers Goteborg were incredibly helpful during my stay. They went above and beyond to accommodate my needs and even found me a quiet dorm when I broke my wrist. I also had the pleasure of joining a rainy walking tour with Peter, which was a highlight of my trip.

I recently stayed at Backpackers Goteborg for a few nights and had a great experience. The location of the hotel is fantastic, with easy access to three tram stops. The WiFi connection was strong throughout my stay, which was important for me as a traveler. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring that everything was sorted quickly. The property itself had a lot to offer, including a well-equipped guest kitchen and plenty of bathrooms with excellent showers. The bunk beds in the women's dorm were cute and comfortable, providing a sense of privacy with the curtains. I also appreciated the small details like electrical outlets by each bed, a night light, and a pocket for keeping belongings. Additionally, the inclusion of linens and the availability of an umbrella in the room were nice touches. The hotel even had events for guests and a sauna available, although I didn't have a chance to use them. I had a wonderful stay at Backpackers Goteborg.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at Backpackers Goteborg in a cozy room with a curtain for privacy. The communal areas were spacious and well-equipped, including a fantastic kitchen with two sinks and three fridges. The bathrooms were clean and sanitary, a plus. Despite the slight discomfort of a less-than-comfortable mattress and occasional wifi slowness, the value for money and great location near beautiful parks and museums made up for it. I highly recommend this hostel for its facilities and convenient location.

The room was clean and cozy, plus they had an air purifier which was a nice touch. The location was great, with easy access to public transportation and just a short walk to a beautiful park and the lively beer-party area. The staff treated me like a VIP and I felt right at home with the full kitchen and comfortable common areas. Oh, and the curtains on the beds were a game-changer for privacy!
The breakfast could be better with a greater variety of options.
